What is the Haircut & Beard service?
Haircut & Beard is a precision haircut paired with beard shaping and detailing in the same appointment. It costs $50 and runs 45 minutes at Adrian’s Barbershop in Goodyear, Arizona. The reason to book them together rather than separately is that a beard and a haircut are one shape, not two. The fade on the sides has to travel into the beard without a visible step, the cheek line has to sit at a height that matches how high the fade runs, and the mustache has to be balanced against the weight left on top. Cut in separate visits by separate hands, those relationships drift and the result reads slightly off even when both halves are technically clean. This is the right booking for anyone on a two to four week maintenance cycle, or for anyone who wants to look deliberate rather than merely tidy.
The connection point is the whole job
The hardest part of this service is not the fade and it is not the beard. It is the inch or so where they meet. Done well, there is no line at all and the hair simply becomes beard somewhere around the jaw.
That transition is why the service takes 45 minutes rather than 30. It is also the first thing that gives away a rushed cut, because a hard step there is visible from across a room.
Come in with the beard you want shaped
Do not trim it yourself the night before. Adrian needs the natural growth line to judge where the cheek line should sit, and a pre-trimmed beard removes the information he is working from.
If you are growing it out toward a specific length, say so at the start. The approach for maintaining a beard is different from the approach for shaping one that is still filling in.

How often should I book a haircut and beard together?+
Every two to four weeks depending on how fast you grow and how sharp you want to stay. A common pattern is the full $50 service monthly with a $25 line up in between.
Can I bring a photo of the beard shape I want?+
Please do. Beard shape is harder to describe than a haircut, and a photo settles where you want the cheek line and how much length comes off in one look.
