Flagship Service

The VIP Package.

What is included in the VIP Package?

The VIP Package is the flagship service at Adrian’s Barbershop in Goodyear, Arizona. It costs $70, runs 55 minutes, and combines five services into one appointment: a precision haircut, a hot towel, a straight razor shave, a skincare facial, and a neck massage to close. The five components are only sold together, in this order, as one appointment. The order is deliberate. The haircut sets the shape first, the hot towel opens the skin and softens the hair before any blade touches it, the razor work cleans the neckline and face, the facial resets the skin after the shave, and the massage takes the tension out of the shoulders and neck at the end. It is built for anyone who wants the complete reset rather than a maintenance trim: a wedding, a shoot, a first date, a new job, or simply the once-a-month version of yourself that looks handled.

Why the order matters

Most shops that sell a package sell it as a list. The sequence is what actually makes it work. Cutting before the towel means the shape is set while the hair is dry and behaving normally, which is the only way to judge weight and balance honestly.

The hot towel then does two jobs at once. It softens the beard and the fine hair on the neck so the razor moves without dragging, and it opens the pores enough that the facial afterward actually reaches something. Skipping it is why a lot of razor work leaves irritation behind.

Who this is not for

If you are on a tight lunch break, book the standard haircut instead. The VIP runs the full 55 minutes and it is not a service that rewards rushing.

If you shave daily and have persistently irritated skin, mention it before the razor work starts. Adrian will adjust the approach or skip the shave portion rather than aggravate it.

What to expect

  1. 1Consultation on shape, length, and how you wear it day to day.
  2. 2Precision haircut, cut dry so the weight and balance read true.
  3. 3Hot towel to soften the hair and open the skin.
  4. 4Straight razor work on the neckline, cheeks, and edges.
  5. 5Skincare facial to calm and reset the skin after the blade.
  6. 6Neck and shoulder massage, then a final check in the mirror.

Aftercare

  • Leave the skin alone for the rest of the day. No new products, no aftershave with alcohol in it.
  • The razor line on the neck stays sharp for roughly a week, then softens. A Beard Line Up between visits keeps it crisp.
  • Book the next one at three to four weeks if you want to keep the shape rather than rebuild it.

Questions

Before you book.

Is the VIP Package worth it over a regular haircut?+

It depends on what you want out of the visit. A $37 haircut handles the shape. The $70 VIP adds the hot towel, razor shave, facial, and massage, which is the difference between looking cut and looking finished. If you are heading into an event or you only get in once a month, it is the better value per visit.

How long does the VIP Package take?+

55 minutes. Because Adrian works alone in a private suite there is no waiting between components, so the booked time is the actual time.

Can I book the VIP Package as a mobile or office appointment?+

The haircut, beard, and razor portions travel well. The facial and hot towel need a sink and setup, so the full VIP is best done in the Goodyear suite. Ask when you request the mobile appointment and Adrian will tell you what is workable at your location.
